Are Trendy Diets Sustainable?

Trendy diets often gain popularity due to their promises of quick weight loss or other health benefits. However, many of these diets are not sustainable in the long term and can even be detrimental to overall health. Here are descriptions of a few trendy diets we will tackle on today’s episode; Keto, Paleo, Intermittent Fasting, Ozempic and HCG.

We educate on Reverse Dieting, a way to transition off of extreme caloric deficits. This period of time helps support the body without extreme weight gain.

While trendy diets may offer short-term results, they often fail to promote overall health and well-being in the long term. Eating in balance, on the other hand, involves consuming a variety of nutrient-dense foods in appropriate portions to meet your body's needs. This approach emphasizes moderation, flexibility, and enjoyment of food, making it a sustainable lifestyle choice. By prioritizing whole, minimally processed foods and listening to your body's hunger and fullness cues, eating in balance can support long-term health and vitality. Additionally, focusing on balance allows for greater flexibility and enjoyment in food choices, making it easier to maintain over time compared to rigid diet rules and restrictions.

Just remember diets are short term. Lifestyle is long term!
